Gregory Chadwick, DDS, MS serves as dean at the East Carolina University (ECU) School of Dental Medicine. Formerly he served as associate vice chancellor for oral health at ECU where he led the effort to establish the dental school. Dr. Chadwick, a native of North Carolina, received a BS in business administration from the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill. After graduating from the UNC School of Dentistry he practiced general dentistry in Community Health Centers in Prospect Hill and Moncure, North Carolina before entering a residency in endodontics. He earned an MS in endodontics from the UNC School of Dentistry and subsequently practiced endodontics in his hometown of Charlotte for almost thirty years. He is a former president of numerous dental organizations including the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society.
