Letters of Support

The following organizations, have expressed support for this initiative and the development of measures that educational institutions can use to promote and advance social mission.
  • American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN)
    American Association of Colleges of Nursing works to establish quality standards for nursing education; assists schools in implementing those standards; influences the nursing profession to improve health care; and promotes public support for professional nursing education, research, and practice.

  • American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM)​
    The American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine leads and advocates for the osteopathic medical education community to improve the health of the public.

  • American Medical Student Association​ (AMSA)
    AMSA fosters a community of future physicians through education and advocacy, and provides power to medical students to take action and create change about issues that they care about, such as health disparities.​

  • American Student Dental Association (ASDA) 
    The American Student Dental Association is a national student-run organization that protects and advances the rights, interests and welfare of dental students. It introduces students to lifelong involvement in organized dentistry and provides services, information, education, representation and advocacy.

  • National League for Nursing (NLN)
    The NLN is the premier organization for nurse faculty and leaders in nursing education, with its members representing nursing education programs across the spectrum of higher education, health care organizations, and agencies.

  • Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) 
    The RWJF is focused on building a Culture of Health, with a framework to improve health, equity, and well-being.
