The national Social Mission Self-Assessment is a survey aimed to give health professions school leaders an overview of the state of social mission at their schools. This online survey was designed with the guidance of an Advisory Committee and field tested at over 60 schools, leading to the development of the final Social Mission Self-Assessment.
Dental, medical, and nursing schools across the country are invited to take the Social Mission Survey as a form of self-assessment to examine:
Aggregated data from the Self-Assessment will provide information for a confidential social mission data repository that will enable the development of further performance measures and a collection of best practices in the field of social mission.
The deans of all medical and dental schools in the country, as well as the deans of a representative sample of nursing schools will receive an invitation to participate in the Social Mission Self-Assessment in January of 2019.
